My research project, Racial and Ethnic Socialization in Latinx Families, examines how Latinx families talk about racial and cultural identity and racism. It contributes to research on race and ethnicity by developing the processes of how structural racism unfolds in Latinx families through racial and ethnic socialization and how individual, family, community, and educational resources can help resist racial oppression.
